More informations

Which horse is the Bridle Difference intended for?

The Difference bridle was created for horses with problems on the first and second cervicals vertebrae.

Be careful, this bridle is therapeutic and not suitable for horses that do not have problems with the first and second cervicals vertebrae.

We offer you a demonstration model available in saddlery on demand.

What is the origin of the Difference bridle?

This particular bridle was designed at the request of the chiropractor from Peder Fredericson (Sweden) who detected a particular sensitivity on the first and second cervicals of one of their horses. Philippe Dion has therefore created a bridle with a unique cut freeing these two necks.

One problem remained: maintaining this headrest so that it did not position itself on the joint of the head. To keep it in place, the model is reinforced with two throat latches connected to the noseband and crossing behind the ganache.

These two throat latchs must be tight enough, it is the tension of these that prevents the headpiece from moving and allows the bridle to be effective.

How do you know if it works / if this bridle is useful for your horse?

Once the bridle is properly placed on your horse's head, get on and work on it for 20 to 30 minutes. If he is completely transformed, much more relaxed, his support on the bit is good and he engages the hind legs on a regular basis then the Difference bridle is the solution.

Otherwise, it is not a question of problems on the first and second cervical. Consult your veterinarian to find the source of the problem.

This bridle is not recommended on a healthy horse.
